Images From the Corner

Synopsis:

Bilja was seriously wounded in 1992 in Sarajevo. French photographer took pictures of her while she was lying on the street, bleeding and desperately begging for help; pictures of Bilja’s wounding made him famous. Film follows the search for Bilja and reconstructs the moment when news became more important then life.

Premiere of the film „Images from the corner“ was held at the Babylon cinema in Berlin, Germany in May 2003 in co-production with OHNE GEPAECK for TV ARTE ZDF. It was broadcasted on ARTE TV.
